
Happy Wednesday!! All students may wear a hat to school with or without a donation to the Volunteers of Warwick Schools (VOWS) today, Weds., June 14th. Also, its our final "Wildcat Wednesday" of the year. All in Grades K-4 are optionally invited to wear our school colors of yellow, blue, or wildcat gear. It's the letter "R Day" of Spring Spirit Week today, Fri., June 9th! Everyone is optionally invited to wear their best tie-dye or rainbow colored gear! Also, be sure to wear sturdy shoes and dress for possible damp weather because it's Field Day!! Lemonade, lawn bowling, corn hole, and more await everyone thanks to parent help! Field Day is ON for tomorrow, Fri., June 9th. Although rain threatens in the afternoon, we're certain we can provide a safe and fun day for our kids, while also welcoming all of the approved chaperones who have volunteered and taken time out of work to be with us. Note: If there is drizzle or light rain, we will still run the games as long as safety allows. Please ensure your child has sturdy shoes on and is dressed for possible damp conditions. Good Morning! There is a Chorus Concert (performed by singers in Grades 4 & 5) today, Thurs., June 8th at 2 PM. Chorus members are reminded to wear their chorus t-shirts. Special "Warwick Neck" yard signs for Grade 5 graduates may be retrieved at the concert, as well (If you cannot attend today's concert, signs may be picked up through the school office). All other grades are reminded that its "Calendar Confusion" Day today -- everyone is optionally invited to wear their favorite Halloween, Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Valentines, or other holiday t-shirts, socks, pants or accessories as part of Spring School Spirit Week! Good evening! The "Walk-A-Thon" sponsored by Grade 4, originally planned for tomorrow, has been postponed due to unsettled weather to next Thursday, 6/15. However, as part of Spring Spirit Week, students are still invited to wear green tomorrow as we promote animal conservation (Kindg. students are invited to wear orange as part of their ABC Countdown for "O" Day). Optional donations of any amount are also welcomed and will be given to conservation efforts at the RWP Zoo.
