Happy Color-A-Thon Saturday! We had some surprise volunteers unfortunately cancel at the last minute. If any parent/guardian can help with a few items at the event, please let us know at the registration booth! Also, if anyone has a good quality camera that they can use to capture photos of the kids. Please let us know, too! We'd greatly appreciate it! (Reminders - Registration opens: 9:30 AM / Race starts: 10:15 AM)

Tomorrow, May 6th, the Color-A-Thon returns to Warwick Neck at the Bend Field Sports Complex! Registration opens at 9:30 AM and the race will begin promptly at 10:15 AM. The weather looks amazing! Be sure to bring a full water bottle and sunblock, as these are not provided at the event. If you have a battery-operated leaf blower that can be borrowed, we'd appreciate it as they help to blow the colored chalk off the kids. Non-WNS siblings may participate in the run, but parents must sign a waiver before the start. This event is being brought to you by the PTA -- all children must be accompanied by an adult - at all times - as there is no supervision provided. See you there!

It's the final day of Teacher Appreciation Week today, Fri., May 5th! All are invited to wear their most colorful clothes to celebrate (and in anticipation of) tomorrow's big event: the Color-A-Thon!! We hope to see you there -- Have a great weekend!

Just a friendly "heads up" from Warwick Neck -- Please note that 1 week from today is a distance learning day for students. (Next Wednesday, May 10th) There will be NO live google meets or online classes as the teachers will be undertaking workshops. As a result, students will be asked to complete their work asynchronously, or at their own pace, during the day. Teachers will be providing additional information soon regarding distance learning assignments. (As always, our complete calendar can be found on the Warwick Neck website.) https://warwickneck.warwickschools.org/o/wne

Today is an optional Pajama Day -- Tuesday, May 2nd to coincide with our Teacher Appreciation Week. Slippers are discouraged out of concern for safety at recess and Physical Education classes. Grade 1 students attending the RWP Zoo field trip are encouraged to wear regular clothes that allow for comfort in the cool and rainy weather conditions forecasted throughout the day.
