This morning we had an unexpected fire drill. The WFD visited and after a short time outside, students returned safely to the building. Students did a great job following fire drill expectations as they have practiced many times this school year!

For Holliman students participating in the unified basketball tournament; Basketball and cheer leading prctice will start on Tuesday, January 13th? Students should bring water bottles and athletic shoes. Parents will need to be at Holliman by 4:15 for pickup.
**We will not be able to have a PTA next year without your help.***
Nomination Committee - Please read and please consider helping. At this time we only have two of the five committee members needed for this very important committee. This is a very small time commitment. The PTA provides monthly events, cultural arts assemblies, field trips, agendas & green folders, after school programs, teacher grants, school store, special activities for the 5th grade graduating class, and so much more. Without this committee, we will not have any of this next year.
This is an election year! That means all PTA board positions will be open and we need a committee to help find our new board. Once the committee is formed, a flyer will go out and all parents and teachers/staff can nominate people for each position. (You can also nominate yourself!) Then the committee will interview the nominees and present the slate at the April PTA meeting. One month later, the election will take place at the May PTA meeting. All current PTA members can vote.
There are six board positions and two current board members will be leaving Holliman as they have 5th graders. The remaining four board members can be nominated for the board again. In order to have a full board and continue as a PTA, we will need to fill all six board positions.
