Holliman Elementary

Good Morning,
Today begins our drop off procedures using the drop off loop via Mullen Rd.
Please have your child seated on the passenger side of the car if possible.
Pull all the way up to the all purpose room door or behind the car in front of you.
Please do not exit your vehicle.
Your child(ren) will exit the vehicle on the passenger side.
If necessary, a staff member will assist your child in getting out of the vehicle.
You are allowed to pass/go around cars in front of you that need a little extra time; there is plenty of room to do this in the drop off loop.
Most of the lot will be closed off for the buses.
If you MUST enter the parking lot, please take an immediate left once you enter the lot.
Do not follow the buses
Please let all family members who may be dropping off your child about this routine.

We will follow the same dismissal procedures as the first day of school.

Tomorrow we switch to our permanent arrival routine.

Welcome to the first day of school! As a reminder for today only, all families arriving by car must enter via Deborah Rd. and park in the parking lot or park in the neighborhood. Please do not park at the entrance of the parking lot in front of or across from the blue house. Thank you!
Also, here is a message from transportation;
all buses are running late due to the traffic from the high schools, and it is becoming a trickle effect.

Buses always run late the first few days of school, and it will start to work itself out soon.

Our parking lot is already filling up due to Kindergarten orientation. Please consider entering via Mullen Rd. and parking along the drop off loop or in the back parking lot. There also should be plenty of street parking in the neighborhood.

Class lists have been changing due to enrollment. Please check Aspen for any updates on your child's classroom assignment. Students in SES and IASE classrooms may be assigned multiple teachers. Tonight at open hour and on the first day of school we will have staff to help you find your child's teacher and classroom.

I am so excited to see all of you at Holliman this afternoon! To ensure there is enough space in our parking lot, please consider car pooling and/or parking in the neighborhood.There will be parking available in the bus loop via Mullen Rd.
K Orientation is at 3pm and the ribbon cutting begins at 4. Gather in front of the Holliman sign!

Dear Holliman Families,
We are all excited to see our newly renovated Holliman! Please take advantage of our open house on Tuesday, August 26th from 4pm - 6pm. We are still in the process of unpacking, setting up classrooms, and putting the final touches on the building and will be ready for families on the 26th. Tours of the building may not be possible before that date. Additionally, we are still updating class lists. What is reflected in Aspen at this time may not yet be accurate.
