When you arrive at Holliman, you can access our back field via the side of the building adjacent to the Pilgrim tennis courts.
Please do not come to the main office door.

The most magical day of the year is upon us!
Thursday 6/11/26 We will be participating in field day all day! Mostly outdoors with a few indoor stations!
Cookout lunch for students that ordered (these lunches were ordered last week, they are the same cost as regular school lunch) Hamburger, Cheeseburger, hotdog, or Fun Lunch with Fruit
Kona Ice during recess times
Popcorn Bar 3 flavors: Ranch, Salted Caramel, & White Cheddar. (morning snack)
Iggy's Doughboys (afternoon snack)
Mickey Waffles (morning snack)
Mickey Balloon Cookies (coming home with students, nut free but not made in a nut free kitchen, please let us know if you'd not like one sent home)
Please send your child in with a refillable water bottle we will have refill stations
Please make sure your child is wearing sunscreen if this is part of your sun exposure routine
A fire truck will visit and your children WILL GET WET! There are also 2 stations that involve water!
TShirts will either be sent home, or teachers will have students put their TShirts on when they arrive on Thursday!

This is a last call for families to complete the parade float permission form if your child plans to ride our Holliman Hornets of Liberty Float in the Gaspee Day Parade on Saturday, June 13th.

Here are the details; Read Carefully...
Park at Pilgrim High School and walk down Narragansett Parkway to our float (pole # to follow soon).
Pack snacks, water, sunblock, hat, etc for your child (we will have some drinks and snacks on the float).
Students should wear the Holliman class of 2026 shirt.
At the conclusion of the parade, you can meet your child at Rhodes on the Pawtuxet.
There will be a shuttle to take you and your child back to Pilgrim.
*You may opt to leave a car at Rhodes in the morning before the parade. But it will be VERY difficult to bring a car to Rhodes during/after the parade.
Send Mrs. Cabana a separate email if your child is going to ride the shuttle back with another Holliman Family or if they are getting pick up at Rhodes with another Holliman Family.

Review the following rules/expectations with your child;
No jumping off the float
No throwing things off the float at the crowd (we might be tossing candy).
No unkind/foul language.
No excessive use of cell phones.
I will be sending out another reminder prior to Saturday.
Holliman BUS 14 will be combined with bus 55. Students on these buses may be late arriving to their stop.

On Saturday, June 13th, 5th graders are invited to participate in the Gaspee Days Parade. We will have a patriotic themed float for our 5th graders to ride. I will be present the entire time and ride the float with the students. There will be additional teacher/parent supervision. Please read over the permission slip as it contains important information. We are so excited for our 4th & 5th Grade Drama Club Performances of Charlie & The Chocolate Factory on 6/4 & 6/5 at Pilgrim.
